Airport Transfers

🚆 Train – Scenic and Relaxing Kiruna is accessible by train from Stockholm and other major cities, with SJ night trains offering comfortable sleeper cabins. The ride is long (around 15 hours from Stockholm), but the Arctic landscapes are spectacular.

✈️ Flights – Fastest Option Kiruna Airport (KRN) is located just 10 minutes from the city center. Daily flights connect Kiruna with Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) in about 1.5 hours.

🚌 Local Buses & Transfers Local buses connect the airport, train station, and city center. Transfers to nearby attractions like Jukkasjärvi (for the Ice Hotel) and Abisko National Park are available daily.

🚗 Car Rental & Driving Car rentals are available at Kiruna Airport. Driving is the best way to explore the region, especially for visiting remote areas or chasing the Northern Lights. Just remember — in winter, roads can be icy, so winter tires are mandatory.
